OffshoreMW is pursuing offshore wind projects along the Northeast Atlantic Coast. We appreciate the opportunity to work with states that are putting in place the policies needed to finance and permit offshore wind projects.
While we are a project development company, we are also eager to work on a collaborative basis to help build an offshore wind manufacturing base in the US. This manufacturing will generate even more jobs, and create a sustainable offshore wind industry in the US.
OffshoreMW has submitted an application to the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management for a lease offshore New Jersey, and we look forward to participating in that state’s offshore wind program, under the Offshore Wind Economic Development Act.
In Massachusetts, we are working with the local Vineyard Power Cooperative to explore opportunities for bringing offshore wind to Martha’s Vineyard and beyond, in a manner that is responsive to the region’s many existing ocean uses.
